Collecting HST paid prior to getting business number?
Hello,
A business I am working for just got its business number in July, and has been paying out HST since October. Can we collect the HST from prior to getting the business number? If so, how?

Hey Sandy,
Take a look at this link. It explains that, normally, it is not possible to collect ITC prior to GST/HST Registration.
That said, make sure you take a look at the box labeled Capital Assets and ITCs.
