Where does the Eco tax go in bookkeeping and taxes when filing your GST remittance? Does it stay in with your GST input tax credits?
Hi Laurel,
I code it as part of the cost of the purchase ... whether that is an expense or capital item. It does not get booked to your GST Payable account and is NOT an input tax credit.
