Thanks a lot.

Hi Maria,

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking.

The 2007 versions of QuickBooks are no longer supported by Intuit and does not run in Window 7 (I think). There is a sunset clause.

Right now, Intuit supports 2009, 2010 and 2011 versions ... basically the current version and the two previous versions.

If you are asking can you convert a 2007 version to a 2009 version ... then the answer is yes. However once the file is converted, you cannot convert it back to a 2007 version.

Post back using the link below if I misunderstood your question.

Working on QuickBooks Pro 2007 file in QuickBooks Pro 2009
by: Anonymous

If you are asking if you can open and work on a file in QuickBooks Pro 2009 that file was already created in QuickBooks Pro 2007, then no you can't work on the 2007 file without converting it to a QuickBooks Pro 2009 file first.

Click on this link http://support.intuit.ca/quickbooks/en-ca/kb/update/upgrade-quickbooks-to-new-product/4249.html for step-by-step guide on how to do this.

Once the QuickBooks Pro 2007 file has been converted, you can't open it again in QuickBooks Pro 2007.

Hope this helps and it works for you.

Please Be More Specific

Hi Heart,

It sounds like ...maybe ... you are a taking a course ... as your questions are very general.

I prefer students read and study so they can figure out the answers themselves ... you will learn more that way.

If you are not a student ... and if you want to post back with a more specific question about what you are trying to do, I will try and help you.

I'm not sure you will even see this post as you didn't leave an email address when you submitted your question. :0(

Good question. Yes you can. Go to your gear in the upper right hand corner and click on it. Choose Company Settings> Company> Language (last item on the company list).
