I found that Paper sized envelopes (or what ever you like best) is to be used.
I do mine by month "Jan 2010" "Feb 2010"
At the end of each month, I photocopy (or scan the receipts) and staple the receipts that I photocopied to one paper together.
It's easy, clean and looks organized
